A Verbal Toast to my Trainers!!!

The short poems are for my lovely two trainers who came to TCS for us.... It was really a lovely experience to have them around and gave me a boost of inspiration to put my feelings in words!!! A verbal toast to all of the trainers

Todd, Todd, Mr. Todd,
A complete opposite of Sweeney Todd,
Saying Goodby feels very odd,
For meeting you, we always thank God!!!

Generally, we always look up to you,
Lovely experience was being taught by you,
Laughing at every remark made by you,
We cherish every moment given by you!!!

With the twinkle in the eye,
With a sparkling sweet Hi!
Here comes, Here comes Sarinya!!

Her entry in the room gives us a lift,
Her friendship and support is a gift,
Bridging hearts across continental rift,
Now, we curse the time which went too swift!!

Playbooks was what was projected,
Knowledge was what was injected,
Laughter and candies was what affected,
Most importantly, our hearts & minds connected!!!

My Dear.....

Just wrote it a long time back... found it laying in a corner lost in my laptop's diaspora. Just an emotion expressed.....

Life has its own ways,

It brings people close & stir them away,

Might be just to bring them closer inside,

Reducing the need to stand always beside.

A strong emotion in me is “missing you”

Losing you is no more a fear for me,

Because you lose something only if it is not part of you,

Also, you are a part of my soul & the real “me”

Keeping you close was so easy,

But life, my dear, is so busy,

Sometimes you cannot be choosy,

Smile always to make this life Rosy!

All is about you!!!

This one just fly out of mind.... and reached the paper like a river flowing downstream.... what it needed was just One Thought about her .... Just Thinking about her...

Standing by the riverside, I think of you,

Standing under the clouds, I think of you,

Standing on a lonely road, I think of you,

Standing in a crowded square, I think of you.

Every element in the space is an image of you,

Every breath from the air has smell of you,

Every cruising breeze tells about your touch,

Every ray of sunshine reminds me of your glow as such.

So deep inside, you are part of me,

Every memory cell is filled with memories of you & me,

Missing you is just a verbal expression from me,

Reality is just inexpressible for me……

Listless.... Restless...

This one was written around the helpless situation of being not PLACED and idling time and resources during college days (A "Recessive" situation)... words came by alongwith tick-tick of the watch and blinks of the sun setting in grey clouds

Darkening deep is the sky,

Cannot see at all where to fly?

Force is there, but, where to apply?

Opportunities come and just pass by!

Life was never to be easy,

Days are gone when I was busy,

Surrounding crowd is quite cheesy,

Path ahead keeps becoming hazy.

Lost the last known thread,

Each door is getting painted red,

It will be difficult everyone said,

Another path ends dead.

Silence and listlessness surrounds me,

Frustration is there for all to see,

Leaves are falling from the tree,

My Soul continues to search for the key….

Eye for an Eye make the World Blind

This is one of my own favourite because of two reasons... (One) It actually has got a rhyme and poetic structure (Two) I did express what was truly in my heart. I wrote this one after watching "Parzania" the night before and could not sleep. The true face of Human Animality was brought in front brilliantly..... So hope you all like it too.... (GOT A GOOD REVIEW ON WRITERS.COM TOO!!!)

Eye for an eye makes the world blind,
This had come from our father's mind,
He had a heart which was so kind,
In today's world, why is it so hard to find?

Man today with shining swords,
Speaks along the blazing words,
Wearing a heartless mind on sleeve,
Ready to kill and just leave...

What made the man like this?
What is there which we always miss?
How can a few influence so many others?
How can brothers turn against brothers?

Making religion the face on both sides,
They always have reasoned the genocides.
Some rules & ethics were set to abide,
But, they were bent, broken and taken for a ride!

First time kill makes them cry,
Next time the same eyes go dry,
Later the soul is sent to fry,
Last the animal is out to pry.

Does a solution exist?
Why is it so easy to resist?
Man today is desensitized and pessimistic,
Were Gandhi & his friends being too optimistic???

King who Lost his Queen

It was a damp day, when this was born... Had a serious 5 day long disagreement and disputes with someone close and was feeling like a warrior in a losing battle... which actually ended in peace and i found my "Way Back into Love"... so it is now just a memoir and possibly an alternate reality possible then... (Complicated Philosophy... I know tht!!!)

Heart is tied by a ball of string,
Lost his Queen, in despair is King,
Defeated by his regular flings,
What he did was a foolish thing.

Tested & tried the tolerance of Queen,
Led to a fight unforeseen,
Simple things for which King was not keen,
Led to the damage he did not mean.

Surrounded was he by thousand beings,
Soul was searching for that sound,
Which stirred his heart & being,
But, grief & misery was what he found…

Feeling Confucian.... :)

Just was feeling Confucian on 1st May... no idea why??? but writing them was fun.... also learnt that I can think really well.... just am weak at implementation... :P... Hope all who read like them!

Expressions just form the crust,
Most important in love is trust,
Never let it rust,
As in that moment, all goes bust !!!

Never set expectations too high too low,
Always be ready to deal with any blow,
Take the result as the part of the flow,
Without losing your facial glow!

Understanding does go missing at times,
That might lead to fights sometimes,
But all is for seeking love every time,
Just highs and lows of a beautiful rhyme!
